A good way to practice survial situations is to go camping. Wether you go to the woods, the backyard, or just to the living room, breaking the routine of everyday life can be a good thing. Getting outside your comfort zone on a regular basis can help you to handle situations that arise out of the blue. While it is important to try and keep a sense of normalacy during an emergancy, it is just as important to be able to adapt. So shake things up, and learn something new.
